Week in the Life | Friday

Today was pretty awesome. It wasn’t the most eventful but it was an all around good day. Lennie had the day off again so we hung out. We had a late breakfast. I made super yummy waffles. We had to run a few errands which just so happened to include the mall. I found two pairs of jeans that I love. Well one that I absolutely love and the other that I just love. I was also looking for shoes. I found a pair of super soft loafers. I feel like an old lady but I needed something casual yet nice. We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and I didn’t even order cheesecake!

I also started working on putting my book together for this week. I am loving my progress so far. I’ve loved documenting the week and am eager to see what tomorrow brings. Oh – a hurricane is heading this way so I’m going to visit my family on Sunday. Sunday is also the last day of my Week in the Life so that’ll be a fun little post. We decided to head out to this festival that’s going on here tonight. We ate out in the beautiful night air and enjoyed ourselves. Friday nights in Old San Juan are pretty awesome.

I love shoes but I have no closet space. They sit right by my bed...lol

So just in case you’re wondering, we need that hurricane to come close. We don’t need anything to be ruined but we do need water. Puerto Rico is in a horrible drought. Some people only get water once or twice a week! We are in desperate need of a nice storm to bring tons and tons of rain – but not enough to flood and ruin homes.

Love always, Monica
